Founder & Director
Matthew Volk
Matthew Volk has over 20 years of experience in the development and property industry. He has experience throughout a broad range of sectors; including convenience retail, large format retail, childcare, land development, residential and industrial. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science (Property Economics) from the Queensland University of Technology.
Prior to establishing Lumos Group, Matthew was Co-Founder and Director of Empirica Developments, where he delivered over $125 million worth of projects throughout Australia. Preceding this, Matthew held roles within Watpac Developments and Multiplex Developments.

With a focus on service stations, quick service restaurants and large format retail, Lumos Group has delivered exceptional projects for top tier national tenants such as Viva Energy, 7 Eleven, KFC, Starbucks, Total Tools, Repco and Jax Tyres.

Lumos Group is expanding into the residential space with the acquisition of 250 Kent Street, New Farm. The site will be developed into a 5 bedroom home designed by renowned architect DAHA in Brisbane’s premier suburb.

Lumos Group is active in the childcare space having completed three successful childcare developments in Queensland & Victoria.

Lumos Group has completed several industrial projects with the most recent being the Exit 54 Business Park on the Gold Coast.
